Softwashing is a gentle and effective cleaning method used to remove algae, dirt, and other contaminants from rendered walls without causing damage.
Unlike pressure washing, which relies on high-pressure water jets, softwashing involves applying a specially formulated cleaning solution that breaks down organic matter growth and grime.
The process typically begins with the application of a biodegradable chemical solution that penetrates the surface, loosening dirt and killing algae, mould, and mildew at the root.
After allowing the solution to dwell for a specified period, the walls are rinsed with low-pressure water, ensuring the cleaning agents and debris are safely washed away.
This method not only cleans surfaces thoroughly but also prevents regrowth for an extended period, keeping rendered walls looking fresh and well-maintained.
After two applications, another solution is applied specifically to prevent regrowth of algae, mould and mildew, which can be periodically applied without the first two stages, to reduce future maintenance cost
